Do you remember being rewarded for reading? Eating a pizza for every book read? Join WIN on Thursday, May 21th, from 12:00-1:00 pm in person in room G-105 for our second summer book club. Inspired by Pizza Hut’s BOOK IT program, we will be discussing We Could Be Rats by Emily Austin. Pizza and salad will be provided by Guido’s. We encourage you to support your local libraries or Libby in lieu of purchasing the book. The synopsis of the book will be below. Please RSVP if interested!
Trigger Warnings: Suicide Ideation
An intimate, emotional, and novel full of dark humor is about identity, grief, mental illness, and the kinds of inner worlds people build when they’re trying to survive something painful. The story is told through a mix of suicide notes, journal entries, and the perspectives of two sisters, Sigrid and Margit
Food Provided (We will provide pizza!)
